It all started on friday morning. It was like the whole class had been struck by some magic spell. We were going to the London Big Bang Fair!
It didn’t start straight away. We had to sit through year 3′s assembly. Right after that we left school and walked to the station. We got on the overground to Stratford, then the Jubilee Line and the DLR to the Excel. When we got off the train we had to walk quite a long way to the exhibition hall. Everyone was very excited.
Mr Sloan handed out passes and we split into 2 groups and arranged to meet for lunch in an hour. My group went to the “rocket car” where an air rocket was put into a mini car and sent down a runway. That was really fun. Then we went to look at some lego that had been programmed to do what you told it. Omar and I managed to get the robot to go from one side of the mat to the other by using a computer to direct it. Then we went to welding the chocolate. We melted some chocolate and then stuck it back together like welding at the end we were allowed to eat some of the broken chocolate it tasted delicious.
After that it had just been an hour so we made our way to the exit to have lunch. Lunch was absolutely delicious. After we went to the Wallace and Grommit road show. We were told that in one of the episodes Wallace had made a steam chair and they gave us a model of it that we could build at home.
We made our way back to school reversing the journey. The DLR, then the Jubilee Line line and finally the overground back to Tottenham Hale.
On sunday I made my steam chair. It went like a dream. My Uncle John helped me build it as some of the bits were quite fiddly.
Thank you for reading my recount.

HOLY CHEESE George!! I can’t believe that you wrote this! It is sensational! I loved the way you set it out and the description used was breath taking! Although I think that the quantity of the writing could be extended! Outstanding Job George! And keep it up!
IMPRESSIVE This is very good! Keep up the good work!
Well done George! This is really really good. (Really). I liked how you described all your feelings! I also liked the way you put it in paragraphs and set it out just right! One more thing I like was when you described it with really nice adjectives!
I also think you can improve on it because there were not a lot of full stops! But well done anyway!
