Historical Massive Ship! By Sharon

HMS Belfast, one of London’s most magnificent attractions will open its latest visitor experience in July. The Gun Turret was active during  the Second World War and saved many British Forces.

It has played a commemorable and important part of British history and visitors can experience what it must have been like during the war with their very own eyes. This is an educational opportunity where you can learn all sorts of facts about life at sea past or present. You can discover the turret of Triple Guns as well as read the letter written by the sailor M-D Withers from The Battle Of The Cape.

Here are some quotes from people who have experienced the Gun Turret whilst the war was in action:

“Boxing Day we went to action stations (at 0900 seven o clock your time) and we remained at the guns for about 13 hours, we “relaxed” about 11o/c that night”.

With admission only £13.00 for adults and FREE for children under 16 (right bargain!) So when is it your turn to transform yourself into something new?

Thanks Aiden! I am really heart warmed by your comment. I did spot that technical hitch and I think that next time I should fix it. Again I really think that this comment will benefit me in the future!

What an amazing piece of writing Sharon! You have explained so much with a small amount of of words to be used. While I was reading this amazing piece of writing I did notice a few mistakes. When you were writing quotes in brackets you wrote ‘at 0900 seven o’clock your time you could have put a comma in-between 0900 and seven. Other than that you wrote a great piece of writing well done Sharon!
