As part of our ‘Rockets’ topic, Year 5 have been experimenting with the use of compressed air as a propellant. Yesterday we tested our rockets, varying the amount of water in the bottles. This is a video made by a Norwegian photographer called Terje Sorgjerd. He was filming an amazing scientific phenomena called the aurora borealis (sometimes called the Northern Lights). What can you find out about the aurora? Perhaps you might write a descriptive piece about the video, or maybe a poem?
